Open Access Policy and Licensing Policy
Open Access Policy
"Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Journal" adheres to an Open Access policy. All articles are made freely and permanently available immediately after the publication of an issue. Full-text access in real time to the journal’s scientific articles is provided on the official website in the Archives section.
This complies with the BOAI definition of Open Access. The journal’s licensing policy is compatible with the majority of open access and archival policies.
Licensing Terms for Use of Materials
All journal materials are published under an Open Access model using the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
This license permits free use, copying, distribution, and adaptation of materials in any format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s), the source of publication, and any changes made (if applicable).
Authors retain copyright to their works and grant the journal the right of first publication, ensuring a balance between open access and proper recognition of authorship.
Open Research Data and FAIR Principles
The journal supports open science practices and encourages authors to ensure transparency and reproducibility of research results through open access to research data.
Where appropriate and in accordance with the nature of the research and without violating ethical or legal restrictions, authors are encouraged to deposit datasets in open institutional, national, or international research data repositories. Data should comply with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), ensuring proper identification, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability.
Where datasets are available, authors must provide information about their location in the manuscript and metadata, including a persistent identifier (DOI or other stable link). This enhances research transparency, verifiability, and integration into the international scholarly community.
The editorial board considers the availability of open data as a positive factor in manuscript evaluation; however, the requirement for data sharing depends on the specifics of the research.
Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy
The journal ensures reliable and long-term preservation of all published materials in accordance with international digital archiving standards.
To preserve scholarly content, each published article:
- remains permanently accessible on the journal’s website without time restrictions;
- is assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring a stable and persistent link.
Articles are also deposited in institutional repositories of the universities affiliated with the authors.
